He practices in Minnesota state courts and in Federal Court for the District of Minnesota.

In addition to defending people in court, Mr. Bushnell handles expungement of criminal records for people who need a record sealed because they are denied employment or otherwise hurt by it, and can also help people with expunging Department of Human Services (DHS) records.
